Lionel Messi gets up and walks off after Argentina concede a sixth goal against Spain

Lionel Messi was so frustrated with Argentina’s woeful performance against Spain on Tuesday evening he walked off before the match had finished.

The Barcelona star once again watched his teammates from the stands after tweaking his hamstring in training, having also missed the win over Italy on Friday through fatigue.

In the absence of their skipper, Argentina were totally second best against Spain and shipped six goals in a 6-1 defeat – marking their heaviest defeat to European opposition since 1958.
